The Key Accounts Manager for California Small Format will develop, guide and maintain strong account-specific business relationships with key account customers based primarily in California, but could reach into other parts of the Southwest. They will produce proactive action plans that increase brand awareness and distribution in small format retailers, such as convenience and drug. This position works closely with distributor personnel to prepare and execute strategies for increased distribution, sales and growth in these accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

*Responsible for revenue growth, profitability and building brewery partnership, brand image and market development.

*Develop and execute account strategies in accordance with overall channel strategy.

*Develop account goals and business plans and ensure plan execution.

*Conduct regular meetings with identified customer channels focused on customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

*Maximize selling opportunities within their territories and ensure execution at account level through effective communication with Distributor Representatives.

*Ensure consistency with all marketing and sales activities as well as consistency with company policies and procedures.

*Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Qualifications:

*Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university.

*Experience: At least 3 years of related Key Accounts sales growth experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferable within the small format channel

*Demonstrated problem-solving, negotiating, and people management skills.

*Experienced in sales data collection and analysis. Previous retail experience preferred.

*Strong communication and organization skills with the ability to interact effectively.

*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

*Must have strong communication, presentation and organization skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization as well as build and maintain customer relationships.

*Travel Requirements: Some travel is required throughout California
