Financial Analyst

Stone Brewing is in search of an exceptional Financial Analyst to join our new and growing FP&A team. The Financial Analyst will assist in the development and preparation of the annual operating budget and quarterly forecast updates for all related Stone Brewing business groups, entities and affiliates.  



  • Assist in the improvement and the development of the company’s reporting package for internal and external stakeholders, including actual vs. budget variance analysis and other relevant financial data to drive the business and profitability.
  • Partner with the Hospitality division to implement back office system, performance scorecard, and ad-hoc reporting, focused on improving financial results and guest experience. Areas of focus will include COGS reporting, labor productivity, sales and P-mix analysis, new location site selection, and initiative tracking and reporting.
  • Provide leadership in improving financial reporting systems, period end close process, and overall financial analysis DNA within the company by partnering with Marketing, IT, Supply Chain, and Accounting.
  • Work with the CFO and Senior Leadership Team, prepare strategic analysis for investment decisions, new initiatives, profitability analysis, business trends and performing results.


  • Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in accounting, finance, economics or related field.  MBA a plus. CPA a plus.
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years of related financial and/or accounting experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods environment with multiple locations. International experience a plus.  Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis; or equivalent combination of experience and education. Must have experience using strong financial analysis skills, including budget management and complex financial modeling.  Must have experience using strong team-working skills and ability to produce/manage in a rapidly growing, diverse and changing environment. Experience using excellent planning, organization and time management skills as well as being self-motivated and a solid team player. Must have experience using strong attention to detail.
  • Computer Skills: Strong proficiency with Excel: pivot tables, vlookup and index match. Comfortable with extracting data from disparate systems. Must have flow-charting, project scheduling experience. Must have knowledge and experience using accounting software, preferably ERP systems (Microsoft AX a plus).
