The Inventory Control Manager will provide and manage the processes and controls for raw materials and finished goods inventory across all locations including off site vendor locations ensuring an accurate account of all inventory and creating visibility. Provide analytics including storage space, sell velocity, count accuracy and write off analysis.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create and support processes for the tracking and communication of inventory reconciliation across the distribution network including month and year end count processes across all locations.

  • Improve and maintain End of Life (EOL) inventory management techniques and provide recommendations for financial reserves against aging inventories

  • Accountable for accurate inventory counts and reconciliation of discrepancies across all locations working with all distribution centers, brewing and packaging on raw material and finished goods inventories

  • Lead assessment, plan, mitigation, resolution and communication regarding inventory requirements and availability.

  • Assists in resolving inquiries from other internal departments such as Brewing, Packaging, Sales, Purchasing and Accounting

  • Drives the identification, development and implementation of tools and enhancements to distribution systems and processes to improve efficiency, beer and event management, and distribution performance.

  • Lead inventory process and data requirements implementation for warehouse management system implementation and enhancements.

  • Lead year end physical inventory with cross functional partners including finance.

  • Create and communicate distribution and logistics reporting such as space utilization, inventory excess, disposals and E&O reporting.

  • Maintain scorecards and report metrics for the department.

  • Maintains documentation of processes and procedures. Performs ad-hoc analyses as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or related field
  • 7+ years in an analysis or planning role overseeing the work of others in a Expertise in inventory control and logistics in a manufacturing and distribution environment is required.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Strong process management, leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior.
  • Demonstrated Project Management skills.
